Where It’s At

Where It’s At

Where “it’s” at… All too often people are looking for the next great thing… The New Thing. We can’t be distracted by all the “New Things” otherwise the enemy will keep us chasing our tail. This is not to say that God is not continually giving new revelation for the season we are in. But we must always remain humble in our hearts to realize that the next new revelation is not “Where it’s at.”

Signs, wonders, and miracles are not “where it’s at.”
Courts of Heaven is not “where it’s at.”
Ekklesia government groups are not “where it’s at.”
Going into the Heavens and exploring what’s there is not “where it’s at.

”Where “IT’s” at is in a relationship with God. Doing the will of our Father. Everything else is only a piece of the puzzle to help us get there. They are tools to help us engage and understand our relationship to HIM.

What stands in the way is pride and arrogance. Pride and arrogance cause us to take the new revelations and tout them as the new and great thing God has given ME! Humility sees them as another step closer to the Father’s heart.

My heart is to see HIS will done on the Earth as it is in Heaven. I still see things happen in the Earth and Christians assume they know what the Father’s will is without checking in with Him… relationship (I do this, too, when I’m not thinking – so I’m not pointing fingers.) We need to take the time to take all things to the Father. Because our ways are not His ways. His plans are not like our plans. Often times, what we are freaking out about, God is not, because He knows ALL things work for the good of those who love Him. He has a big a plan! If we are not careful we can often find ourselves praying and opposing what God is doing.

Lord, I pray, give me a humble heart to receive what you are doing with gladness and joy and to seek YOU for YOUR plan. Mature Son’s/Kings will look like Jesus. They will only do what their Father does. They will only say what their Father says. I think we all have a long way to go. But be encouraged… He is accelerating things.
