Can You Go to Heaven and Back without Dying?

As Christians, we glibly quote verses like Ephesians 2:7 about being seated with Christ in heavenly places and Hebrews 4:16 about boldly coming to the “throne of grace” for help in time of need.  We usually don’t stop to think about what this really means.  Is it simply poetic language?  Or is there a powerful truth of what we have access to here and now?

Most of mainstream Christianity teaches you that you cannot enter heaven until you die.  Why?  My guess is because it is what they were taught. For the most part, we (most Christian churches) have only regurgitated what those before us taught. It takes fresh eyes, sometimes, to look at things a bit different.  Scripture seems to indicate a person can indeed go to the heavens before they die.

However, we have often been taught that “You can’t go to Heaven until after you die.”  This basically is telling us that death is the door to Heaven. Death is how we get there.  Until you die you can’t see Heaven.  Yet, in scripture and all throughout history there have been people stepping into and seeing into the Heavenly realms without dying and coming back. With the exception of Enoch and Elijah whose final trip took them there with their body, the rest were evidently going only in spirit.

To name a few Biblical characters who encountered heaven: Job, Jacob, Moses, Elisha, David, Isaiah, Ezekiel, Stephen, John, and Paul.

I think we would all agree that Heaven is not something we can see with our natural eyes or senses. One way to describe it is that Heaven is in another dimension. Scientifically, we can exist with or next to other dimensions simultaneously. Jesus said in Luke, “… behold, the kingdom of God is within you.” [Luke 17:21 KJV] Wow! Another mind tweaker. Not only is the God and Creator of the Universe living inside you and me, but He’s a huge enormous (unmeasurable) being that exists across every dimension He has created. So, if this is true, why would we be limited to just this one dimension of existence. If we are in Christ, and He is in us, and Jesus is in the Father, then are we not all in the Father with Christ? And, if Jesus is a gate into the Heavens and we have Holy Spirit in us to help us communicate with God, is that not a gate? Are we not a gate into the Kingdom/Heaven as Jesus was/is?

Whoa!  I know some people may be checking out right now. But hold on!  Do you believe in Heaven? If so, Why?  I suggest it is because that is what you have been taught.  What if the teachings of the church have fallen short of teaching the fullness of what God intended?  If you believe in Heaven, then shouldn’t we believe and accept that the God of the Universe that dwells in you has likely given you unique abilities.  I’m convinced that the key to tapping into those abilities is humility and selflessness. The only way up into His Kingdom/Heaven is to go low.  It is the principle of Priest and King.  When you understand how to be a great priest, then and only then, will you be given power and authority to tap into the supernatural power that resides within you.

You see, that power within each of us, Holy Spirit, is the power to do God’s will.  But until we fully submit to His will, we can’t receive its fullness. It is the power to bring us to maturity as sons so that we look like Jesus.  Jesus was a firstfruit. “…Christ the firstfruits…” [1Co 15:23 NKJV] Jesus was not only the firstfruit of resurrection, but He fully expected us to operate in power and authority as He did and MORE! Jesus said, “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater [works] than these he will do because I go to My Father. [Jhn 14:12 NKJV]

Other Fascinating Miracles

  1. In Heaven and Earth at the same time – Jesus said, “And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, [even] the Son of man which is in heaven.” [Jhn 3:13 KJV]  Jesus told Nicodemus, “I’m in Heaven” even though He was seated in the physical right there with Nicodemus.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Where are you right now as you are reading this? Well, guess what, You are also in heaven at this very moment. “And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus,” [Eph 2:6 NIV] This says that He HAS ALREADY seated us in Heavenly places.  It does not say, “He will.”  It is already done.  We have to learn to believe so we can operate there.

  1. Angels ascending and descending on/through Jesus. – “He then added, “Very truly I tell you, you will see ‘heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending on’ the Son of Man.” [Jhn 1:51 NIV]

Hmmmm? Sound familiar? “He [Jacob] had a dream in which he saw a stairway resting on the earth, with its top reaching to heaven, and the angels of God were ascending and descending on it. … 17 He was afraid and said, “How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God; this is the gate of heaven.” [Gen 28:12, 17 NIV] Do you see it?  Jesus is the gate to heaven.  We’re taught that death is the gate to Heaven.  It is not.  Jesus is.  Death without Jesus will not get you to Heaven.

  1. Transfigured – “After six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John with him and led them up a high mountain, where they were all alone. There he was transfigured before them. 3 His clothes became dazzling white, whiter than anyone in the world could bleach them. 4 And there appeared before them Elijah and Moses, who were talking with Jesus. [Mar 9:2-4 NIV] Here we see Jesus shifting from His normal body, like you and I have, to something totally supernatural. Here is a question to ponder.  Was this the first and only time Jesus did this?  Or, was it simply the first time He invited His disciples to see Him do it?  Jesus went away to pray a lot.  I suggest this was not the first time at all.  And, that this is one of the things we can expect as we become mature sons.
  2. Jesus walks through people – “When they heard this, the people in the synagogue were furious. Jumping up, they mobbed him and forced him to the edge of the hill on which the town was built. They intended to push him over the cliff, but he passed right through the crowd and went on his way.” [Luke 4:28-30 NLT]
  3. With a word, Jesus pushes over a group of soldiers – “Now when He said to them, “I am [He],” they drew back and fell to the ground.” [Jhn 18:6 NKJV]

There are so many more things Jesus did, and yet we are expected to do more. Is going into the Heavens so unexpected? Is it that far of a stretch considering all that Jesus did? No!  It is fully expected, especially since Jesus is already there, now.  We are invited into the Heavens.

Death is NOT the door to Heaven.  Jesus is the door.  He is the only legal way in. This is so cool!  Look at this, Jesus says “I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture. [Jhn 10:9 NKJV]  It says those who enter through Jesus will “go in and out.”  In and out of what?

Well, what is Jesus the door to?  John 1:51 Jesus says angels will ascend and descend on Him in and out of what?  Heaven!  Jesus is the door to Heaven.  Jesus is the Way!  He said, “…I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. [Jhn 14:6 NKJV]

Jesus came to tear down the wall of separation that kept us out of Heavens.  “And when Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, he gave up his spirit. At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook, the rocks split” [Mat 27:50-51 NIV] This also took place in the Heavens so that we could boldly step into the Heavens.  “Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body” [Heb 10:19-20 NIV] “Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. … Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.” [Heb 4:14, 16 NIV]

WOW! Why has this not been taught?  It is difficult to teach what you do not understand.  For the most part, Christians have not had a grid for this.  It does not fit our normal everyday life.  And up until recently, there has been only a handful in each generation that has by faith stepped in. BUT NOW!  God is revealing this to His people in masses.  It is time for the mature sons to rise up and take their place on Earth and in the Heavens.

My wife and I have been teaching this at our church in the Sacramento, CA region as we receive greater revelation.  It is changing lives!  We have seen an increase of intimacy with Jesus like never before!  If that were all we ever got from it, it would be far more than enough! But we are seeing so much more power and authority beginning to be released.  People are being set free and we are becoming what Jesus called us to be – His Ekklesia…  His government on the Earth.

This has been an extremely abbreviated summary of this topic.  There is so much more you can learn from our online course called “Ultimate Impact.”  You can join it at www.UltimateImpactMovement.com

Blessings to you and yours!

My wife (Adena) and I started an online course in July of 2017 called “The Ultimate Impact Movement.”  You can find it at www.UltimateImpactMovement.com. We won’t dazzle you with eloquence words or fancy film and studio settings.  This course is simply meant to find those meek and humble ones who want to work together AS ONE in the body of Christ to see His will brought from heaven to earth.  We believe in a wholistic approach to entering into His presence and doing His will to see His Kingdom revealed on Earth through His Ekklesia. Although it is best done with a group/Ekklesia, this is an online discipleship course you can take at your own pace with direct connection to Adena and myself to help you through.  Join us for the adventure of a lifetime!

Do We Legislate or Administrate from the Heavens?

There have been questions about whether we administrate or legislate from the heavenlies. The answer is, “both!” However, the confusion comes in the use of the words.

Legislate:
leg·is·late lejəˌslāt
verb
1. to make or enact laws.

Administrate:
[ad-min-uh-streyt]
verb (used with object), administrated, administrating.
1. to administer.

For the most part, we are called to administer the laws, powers, authority, etc. that God has already put in place. We have been given power and authority to rule and reign. But, we have yet to fully administer the laws and authority He has given us.

We seldom are involved in making new laws in the heavens at this time. I didn’t say we don’t, but I have yet to find a time or situation when God has had me make a new law. But I am constantly aware that I need to administer the laws that are already there.

Hope that helps.
Blessings.

Mature Sons

MATURE SONS…

What a powerful, exciting, and intriguing realization. God wants you to be like Jesus! Jesus was the first fruit of those who would follow. Now, it took God in the flesh, Jesus, to show us how it was done. But, He did it in human form with no advantage over us except that He knew it was attainable. The power and authority Jesus displayed He said we would work the same works, but even greater. “Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.” [Jhn 14:12 NIV]
Many get the cart before the horse. They seek after the power rather than the relationship. Jesus said to seek first the Kingdom and ALL these other things would be added to you us. “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” [Mat 6:33 NIV] When we have right alignment with God’s will, seeking Kingdom first, seeking Him first… (Mat 6:33 and “Jesus replied: ” ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment.” [Mat 22:37-38 NIV]) THEN, “…these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; 18 they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.” [Mar 16:17-18 NIV]
God is ALL about relationships. That is why LOVE conquers all. Jesus was clear, “By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” [Jhn 13:35 NIV]
He is love and that is number one to HIM. Here is a great passage to meditate on and allow it to soak into every fiber of your existence. “…God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. 17 This is how love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment: In this world we are like Jesus. 18 There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. 19 We love because he first loved us. 20 Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen. [1Jo 4:16-20 NIV]
This is Kingdom! Love permeates all of Heaven. It supersedes everything else. Pride and arrogance of being “Right” has caused so much division that Christians appear to preach one message while living out another. Our interpretation of scripture takes precedence over loving one another. There are people who preach Kingdom yet divide it by doctrine. If anyone uses their interpretation of doctrine as the plumb line then they have eliminated part of the body of Christ that does not believe the way they do. Some will say, “But we must maintain truth!” What is truth? I proclaim Jesus Christ to be the Life the Truth and the Way. “Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” [Jhn 14:6 NIV] I’m sorry, but that verse does not say that people get to the Father by knowing the right doctrine. It says we get to Father by knowing Jesus. Intimacy/love with Jesus is the key. Are there boundaries? Yes. Are there standards? Yes. Those who practice sin will not enter in.
Today, rather than gather in love for one another and for Jesus Christ our King, we divide one another based on our interpretation of scripture. If you’re worried about Truth, get to know the one who is Truth, Jesus Christ. Because in the end, it won’t matter if you had the right doctrine. What will make the difference is if you had an intimate relationship with the ONE. “Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’” [Mat 7:22-23 NIV]
Chasing after signs and wonders is not where it is at. Chasing after right doctrine is not where it is at. Chasing after Jesus in the Kingdom is where it is at.
Kingdom mentality does not divide. Kingdom mentality is based on relationship and love for one another. Let Jesus work on the heart of each person. You and I are not God that we should presume that we are so smart that we have all the right answers and should convince everyone to believe as we do. It is arrogance and pride that rises up and deceives us into thinking that we have all the answers and our way it the right way.
I want to be an open book. I want Jesus to be able to mold me in any way He wants. If I think I know the best and only way to interpret scripture I may miss what Jesus really wanted me to get. I believe, and you will have to decide for yourself, that if I seek Him and operate out of love, that is the best anyone can do.
Don’t get me wrong, I have my opinions and beliefs of scripture. And, I will share them if anyone really wants to know what I think. BUT, I will not waste my, or anyone else’s, time trying to convince you that you are wrong. Because if we are all honest, we have to admit that there have been issues that we have taken sides on in the past, then later changed our minds on, right? If not, well… I guess we SHOULD all be learning from you if you’re perfect already (I’m being facetious).
Kingdom is built around the Tree of Life. Doctrine is based around the Tree of Knowledge of good and evil. The tree of life is about living in relationship with each other. The Tree of Knowledge of good and evil is about being right or wrong. Had Adam and Eve remained in relationship with God, they would have received all the knowledge they could ever want but they would learn it in the context of relationship. Instead, they chose to take it now and in their own way outside of relationship. Whenever we act in a way that puts knowledge and doctrine above relationship, we are operating out of the Tree of Knowledge and the end thereof is not pretty.
I choose to love and work in relationship. When I am in relationship with Jesus I have all the Truth I can receive. And, I trust Jesus is giving those around me who are operating out of the Kingdom/Love and relationship all the Truth they can receive. Truth is not a divider. It is a man/God, Jesus Christ who prayed we would all be one. And unless you have a relationship with Him, no other amount of correct doctrine will make any difference. The adverse is true, as well. If you have a relationship with Him/Truth, no other amount of INCORRECT doctrine will make a difference. For it Jesus Christ who saves, not correct doctrine. Be careful with what judgment you judge with (we are to judge) because you will be judged likewise. “For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” [Mat 7:2 NIV]
Love and relationships are keys to growing into Mature Sons.

3 Feasts and the Ekklesia – The Fullness!

Passover, Pentecost, Feast of Tabernacles, and the Ekklesia!

Why is this season different than any other?
Well, maybe it’s not.
BUT, everything in me is saying, “Look Up!” I feel like God is screaming at us through His signs and wonders in the sky. With all that just took place in 2016 & 2017 (Please someone list all the signs!) We would have to seriously be burying our heads in the sand and placing our hearts and heads in “Denial” mode to not see that God is telling us that something is coming.

Here is what I see.
God gave us 3 main feasts to celebrate. He’s pretty serious about these feasts for a reason.
#1 Passover – also represented by the outer court of the Temple.
#2 Pentecost – also represented by the Holy place in the temple.
#3 Feast of Tabernacles – also represented in the Most Holy Place in the temple.
God gave us so many ways in scripture to show this pattern to us for a reason!

The first 2 feasts have already taken place.
The first great feast is Passover – represented by the Blood of the Lamb being spread over the door to our heart. Jesus was the Lamb of God.
The act of asking Jesus into your heart brings Salvation – the first step of a 1000+ step journey with God.

Side note: I felt God say to me some time ago that I was personally 2 steps into that 1000+ step journey. I have to say I felt greatly discouraged. But then He said. At 10 steps in I would begin to see things like I never have before. At 20 steps I would be operating as a full mature son/king with full authority from Him to reign and rule. This is meant for all God’s children if they chose to move in it now. I still had to ask, “What about the other 980 steps?” He said there are infinite steps through eternity with Me. And, I will begin accelerating things toward the end so that the 20 steps will come much sooner for those who are entering into my Heavenly place for training! Whoo Hooo!

The second great feast is that of Pentecost. We see at Pentecost the fire and power of the Holy Spirit was received. Those who walk in the power of the Holy Spirit know what this supernatural power of God is like! It’s awesome when He is flowing through us.

I hear over and over people and churches saying, “If only we could recapture the power of the early church.” But even Paul and Jesus said that the signs and wonders seen in those early days were only a very small portion of what is yet to come.
Jesus said, “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater [works] than these he will do, because I go to My Father.” (Jhn 14:12 NKJV)
Paul said, “Not only [that], but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit…” (Rom 8:23 NKJV)

So come on! Pentecost was only the down payment for what is to come! AMEN!

WOW! This stuff is so cool!

Are you ready? Get this. The Feast of Tabernacles (SUKKOT) is the feast that has not been fulfilled yet. All the signs He has been providing tell us that something big is coming. And the message being received is that the mature sons are coming. The kings are coming!
PEOPLE! WE ARE MOVING INTO THE FULFILLMENT OF THIS LAST FEAST!

Oooooohhhhh my goodness… We are moving into the time of God’s last great move on this Earth! He is looking for men and women who are ready to give it all! He, and ALL creation, are looking and yearning for those mature sons/kings who are willing to lay it all down so He can bring the FULLNESS! GOD FULLY IN US! Tabernacle! Holy Spirit lives in us, but He is looking for those willing to lay it all down so He can FULLY FILL us! Pentecost was the down payment… Christ in us. Holy Spirit in us. We are His new temple, after He left Herod’s temple. But He has yet to operate at full power. But that is where we are headed! The Feast of Tabernacles is God in us – Fully! It us with God in the Holy of Holies! Hallelujah!

This is now the operation of Ekklesias all over the world… To bring Heaven to Earth. His will on Earth as it is in Heaven! AMEN! He’s looking for mature believers ready to lay it all down so He can fill you. These will then, in turn, begin to bring Heaven to Earth as Kingdom Kings with Kingdom Authority!

All creation has been groaning for this!!!!! Let’s line up!
If you can’t tell, I’m extremely excited about this. Adena and I have been working like crazy to get this full teaching out there. It is online in the Ultimate Impact Movement. www.UltimateImpactMovement.com. There are currently close to 90 different teaching, each about 15-20 min long.

Take a look at what others are getting out of it.
Its so awesome seeing God move this into place. The course is being used by small home Ekklesias all over. Anyone can start a group or go through it as an individual!

Things are about to shift!

Hallelujah and Amen!

I can say that 2018 is going to be an extraordinary year. It will have it challenges, with our eyes on Jesus, we won’t notice the challenges much at all.

What I see as a bigger thing to be concerned about in this new year is the enemy will use the good things to keep you from moving in your destiny. There will be and are so many other great things to do, you need to make sure that what you are doing is what is in your book (Ps. 139:16). This is your priority. Do what is in your book!

IF you’re called to be the Ekklesia, get on board and let’s do this! If your destiny is something else at this time, then stay focused on that. We are the body and we all have to do what God is calling us to do in this season!

Amen!

Pass it on (Share it if you like it).

Deep Law of Giving

The Deep Law of Giving…

God’s law of giving is, I believe from my experience, the breakthrough law! It’s not about how much you give or how you give, it’s about your heart. And God is always after our heart. The breakthrough comes when we reach a place where we are so in love with God and His creation, especially people, that our heart has no greater pleasure and desire other than to respect, bless, honor and somehow give to those around us. Often times, and usually the easiest path or way to give is money. It is the route that is used the most and there is nothing wrong with it.  But you could give your time, service, etc.
It takes meditation on His word and intimacy with Him so He can transform your heart to reflect His image… a giving and loving person. When we reflect His image in giving, THEN, comes a whole new level of breakthrough!
Tell me, have you experienced it?
This does not mean you wait until you have millions of dollars to give.
As we move forward with Ekklesias Arising around the globe with the desire and hope to see the Earth shift, WE FIRST, must shift.
Giving is a characteristic of a mature son of God. God is a giver. His children will reflect His image!
PASS IT ON

Wounded Warriors

There are lots of wounded warriors in the field. These are not outcasts. They are wounded people (Christians) and need love and care to bring them back into God’s camp.
You may recognize them… They hold on to bitterness and unforgiveness. Bitter toward people. Bitter toward God. Bitter toward the church. Don’t make the mistake of responding to their bitterness by building a wall or responding in the same spirit. Give them some space and respond in the opposite spirit with love and acceptance… even accepting them where they are at and letting them have the space they want. Take time to rebuild trust with them.
God created them to be a treasure and a blessing and He may be calling you to bring that treasure out of them. You can’t do it if you respond with a counter attack.
Keep in mind that what you think is acceptable may not be the same as what someone else thinks is acceptable. You may offend someone because they feel you crossed a line. You may not have that same belief or conviction but respect and honor theirs. If you don’t, you may never have the opportunity to get close enough to them to share the loving, sacrificing God you know. Some people are much more sensitive to certain things because of past experiences – and rightfully so if you knew their story. Take the time to get to know their story.

Where It’s At

“WHERE IT’S AT”
Where “it’s” at… All too often people are looking for the next great thing… The New Thing. We can’t be distracted by all the “New Things” otherwise the enemy will keep us chasing our tail. This is not to say that God is not continually giving new revelation for the season we are in. But we must always remain humble in our hearts to realize that the next new revelation is not “Where it’s at.”
Signs, wonders, and miracles are not “where it’s at.”
Courts of Heaven is not “where it’s at.”
Ekklesia government groups are not “where it’s at.”
Going into the Heavens and exploring what’s there is not “where it’s at.

Where “IT’s” at is in a relationship with God. Doing the will of our Father. Everything else is only a piece of the puzzle to help us get there. They are tools to help us engage and understand our relationship to HIM.
What stands in the way is pride and arrogance. Pride and arrogance cause us to take the new revelations and tout them as the new and great thing God has given ME! Humility sees them as another step closer to the Father’s heart.
My heart is to see HIS will done on the Earth as it is in Heaven. I still see things happen in the Earth and Christians assume they know what the Father’s will is without checking in with Him… relationship (I do this, too, when I’m not thinking – so I’m not pointing fingers.) We need to take the time to take all things to the Father. Because our ways are not His ways. His plans are not like our plans. Often times, what we are freaking out about, God is not, because He knows ALL things work for the good of those who love Him. He has a big a plan! If we are not careful we can often find ourselves praying and opposing what God is doing.
Lord, I pray, give me a humble heart to receive what you are doing with gladness and joy and to seek YOU for YOUR plan. Mature Son’s/Kings will look like Jesus. They will only do what their Father does. They will only say what their Father says. I think we all have a long way to go. But be encouraged… He is accelerating things.

Gil Hodges.

Protocol for the Heavenlies

A short summary of Heavenly protocol.  If you would like to learn more, see the links at the bottom.

As we are entering into the heavenlies, into the courts, to get verdicts and to learn what Pappa wants us to do and how He wants us to bring His Kingdom to the Earth. I see in some group sessions people get excited and in their excitement sometimes forget why we are there in the courts… in the heavens.

Here are a few things to keep in mind.
1. YES! He designed you and gave you a passion to run with.
2. Those God-given passions/superpowers are your contribution to the Body of Christ – You WILL use those in His grand plan, but within His Body – not alone.
3. Keep things in order. Don’t let your passion override HIS plan. Some people can get so passionate and enthusiastic about what He has given them, that they tend to think every part of the body should fall in line with their passion. (I believe most of the time this is done unintentionally.)
4. We’re here (on Earth) to represent His Kingdom, not our own.

Humility is a key to making sure we are doing His will and not our own. Our passions WILL be used in the Body. But, part of being a mature son/king is learning to operate as part of the body, not the only piece of the body.

One of the best teachings for this is understanding who Christ was as our firstfruit. He was a King and Priest. He led the way. We are to follow suit but become even more in HIM.

Being a priest is a very low and humbling role. It strips us of all our pride. This we need so we can become empty of ourselves and filled with HIM.

When we go to the heavenlies to seek what He wants in the Earth, we need to seek HIS will, not our own. Sometimes it can be hard to lay our own down, but we must!

Where do Mature Sons Sow?

TAKING RESPONSIBILITY AS A MATURE SON

I think most would agree that God is doing something amazing. We have all been praying to see God move, and now many are seeing Him move among the nations. It is so powerful. Yet, there are movements all over now. Which one do you go with?
First, honor each move. Trust God knows what He is doing and honor each move. Don’t try to tear one down in order to raise another up. Simply show what is unique. Each move of God has its place in the Body! Bless and sow into those movements that you feel lead to support. Mature sons of God/Kings know how to do this. We support and encourage things of the Kingdom. This does not mean you sow into every move, but usually, you will sow where you are receiving.
Your church body.
Leaders of movements that need your help and you believe are of God.
But, especially where you are receiving and being fed.

I’m learning protocol. Protocol is about honor. When you are receiving from someone, it is proper and honorable to give gifts and sow into those you are being blessed by.

Look around you. Ask Father where you should be sowing. It may not be finances, but that is one of the most practical ways to sow.
Some sow by teaching. Some sow by service. Whatever you have to give, give.

Giving and honoring are so missed in many cultures today. Yet, I believe it is one of the most powerful ways to break free of chains that bind so many.

The sun does not choose who it will give sunshine to. It gives to all generously. The trees do not choose who they will give oxygen to, they just give generously.

The Bible does not say, “Give sparingly and with caution.” But instead, it says, “Give generously to them and do so without a grudging heart; then because of this the LORD your God will bless you in all your work and in everything you put your hand to.” [Deu 15:10 NIV] “…the righteous gives and does not spare.” [Pro 21:26 NKJV] “There is one who scatters, yet increases more; And there is one who withholds more than is right, But it leads to poverty. The generous soul will be made rich, And he who waters will also be watered himself. [Pro 11:24-25 NKJV]

So look around you today and ask, “Where can I give?”

I know the blessing and honor in giving. I so want each of you to be blessed and be a blessing. There is nothing like it.

Be a king of the Kingdom… Sow generously where God leads you to sow.

Seeking His Highest

Seeking His Highest!

There are people at all stages in their walk with Jesus. Therefore, all stages of ministry are necessary.
Evangelists – needed to introduce people to the first step – Repent, believe, and receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Salvation is the first step.
Pastors – needed to nurture and care for these new converted souls.
Teachers – needed to train and equip the people for their calling on their life.
Prophets – needed to speak life and bring forth the calling in each of their lives.
Apostles – to align it all and send people out.
All of these are needed “UNTIL we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.” [Eph 4:13 NIV]
5-Fold is very important around the Earth today!
Yet, even in Paul’s day he stated, “Therefore let us move beyond the elementary teachings about Christ and be taken forward to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death, and of faith in God, instruction about cleansing rites, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment.” [Heb 6:1-2 NIV]

Interesting what Paul considers “elementary.”
*Repentance from acts that lead to death
*Faith in God
*Instruction about cleansing rites
*Laying on of hands
*Resurrection of the dead
*Eternal judgment

Some of these many would not consider “elementary,” but Paul did. Has anybody reading this raise the dead as a part of their ordinary day? I’m looking forward to it, but I’m not doing it on a daily basis, yet.
My sense is that, even though Paul was an Apostle, he had moved on to focusing on the “maturing” part.
It is interesting that some people and seminars focus on signs, wonders, and miracles as the place we need to “get to.”
I believe Paul and Jesus (and most likely the close followers of Jesus and the early disciples) understood that there is SOOOOOO much more. Yes, signs, wonders, and miracles will follow those who are in Christ. But the key is “In Christ.”
There is a priestly role that all of us must take up if we want to operate in the supernatural. BUT, if the reason you’re doing it is so you can have super natural power, then you will probably not get there. Why? Because it all wraps around intimacy and relationship. If all you want is the power, then you probably won’t get it. If you want a relationship with Jesus, then you’re likely to get the power even if you were not seeking it!

I believe the fulfillment of the Feast of Tabernacles is underway. It is Christ in us! And, us in Christ. When we complete the fulness of our priestly duties (mainly emptying ourselves of our selfishness and pride (but there is much more!)) then He can crown us kings in His Kingdom.

This is a process that we are learning in our Ekklesia groups. Ultimately, the greatest achievement is not signs and wonders, it is oneness with Him. Jesus was the first fruit. We are the harvest. Everything Jesus was as a man on Earth, we are called to be that and so much more, according to Paul and Jesus.
Jesus said, “…whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these…”[Jhn 14:12 NIV]
Paul said, referring to the works and power they had that it was only “…the first fruits of the Spirit…” [Rom 8:23 NKJV] Meaning, there is SOOO much more to come.

When we become mature sons, we won’t be seeking signs and wonders. They will follow us wherever we go. When we are mature sons we will be seeking the Kingdom – His will on Earth, not our own. However, when we are matured to the fullness of Christ (Eph. 4:13) His will and our will, will be difficult, if not impossible to distinguish.
Amen! I hope you can receive this. Seek first His Kingdom… Not the “other.”
If you seek first His Kingdom, the “other” is likely to be added.

BE BLESSED!
